Foam Balls
The key to Roller Dodgeball is safe soft foam balls.
- They don't hurt if they hit a skater or a spectator.
- They will not damage indoor fixtures like ceiling tiles or lights.
Do not use foam balls that are covered with a skin like layer of plastic or rubber.
Do not use dense foam balls. Both types are too heavy and they will roll too far during the game.
Where to Buy Them
We recommend 7" SpectrumTM Bright Foam Balls. Pkg of 6 - under $35.

It's nice to have six different colors. It makes it easier to tell who threw the ball during the game.
Another alternative is the POOF ® brand 7" Foam Ball. You can order them online from
Poof-Slinky, Inc at $7.99 each. The good news is we found the same product at our local Wal-Mart for just $3.24 each (in the toy department).
Note: the ball in the photo at right is still in it's plastic wrapper.
The only drawback to buying them at Wal-Mart was our store had a limited supply at the time (less than 4) and only two colors available (yellow and blue).
